OBLIGATIONS OF PUNTA MARINA PARKING

  • Punta Marina Parking will only release the vehicle when requested by the owner and the details are entered on the website.
  • While your vehicle is parked within the Punta Marina Parking facilities, your vehicle will be insured by Punta Marina Parking against any damage caused by our staff.

USER OBLIGATIONS

  • The client must ensure that the pick-up and drop-off details entered on the website are correct. Incorrect data may cause delays in the procedure and additional costs.
  • All personal belongings, including items and accessories that are not fixed, must be removed from the car; the insurance will not cover them.
  • The vehicle must be returned in roadworthy condition and with all current legal requirements met.
  • Notify Punta Marina Parking of any changes as soon as possible.
  • The client must hand over the vehicle key to Punta Marina Parking. Punta Marina Parking is not responsible for any other keys or keychains attached.
  • The client will be responsible for legal costs and damages caused by incompetence when driving within the Punta Marina Parking facilities.
  • The car must have the original documents, including vehicle papers, current insurance policy, and valid ITV certificate.
  • If the client is not the owner of the vehicle, any legal costs and damages that may occur will remain the responsibility of the vehicle owner (unless the damages occurred while a representative was in charge of the vehicle within the Punta Marina Parking facilities; outside the parking facilities, Punta Marina Parking staff is covered by the client’s vehicle insurance).
  • The client must have a spare key or key code in case the original is lost. Punta Marina Parking is not responsible if the client does not have a spare key.
  • Vehicles with foreign license plates must be legal to drive in Spain.

RESPONSABILITY

  • Punta Marina Parking will not be responsible for any mechanical failure while the vehicle is parked within our facilities.
  • Any cost due to punctures or tire damage will be borne by the owner.
  • Damage claims will not be considered unless reported at the time of pick-up.
  • No responsibility is accepted for loss or damage unless negligence by Punta Marina Parking is proven.
  • Punta Marina Parking is responsible for damages or theft of accessories or parts of the vehicle, provided it is proven they occurred within the facilities.
  • Punta Marina Parking is not responsible for damage to vehicles caused by force majeure. Force majeure must be considered as such by the government, and the claim must be made through the client’s insurance consortium.
  • Punta Marina Parking accepts no responsibility for damage to vehicles caused by weather or animals.
  • Punta Marina Parking is not responsible for providing car rentals in the event of theft or damage to the client’s vehicle.
  • If a car cover is provided, we will install it on the car; however, any damage to the client’s vehicle or the cover itself is not the responsibility of Punta Marina Parking.

PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND

  • Payment must be made in full before the first appointment.
  • Termination of the contract can only be carried out by the designated client and no money will be refunded unless agreed with Punta Marina Parking.
  • The contract cannot be transferred to another name.
  • Punta Marina Parking reserves the right to cancel or restrict reservations.

Punta Marina Parking has the right to retain the vehicle as security for any outstanding payments owed to Punta Marina Parking. If the debt remains unpaid and once a court of law authorizes it, the vehicle may be sold to cover any outstanding debt and any costs incurred.

  • The client agrees to be fully competent to accept this parking contract.
